We are deeply saddened by the loss of Prof. Shouren Zheng

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Prof. Shouren Zheng, member of our Consultative Committee. Prof. Zheng was a distinguished engineer and he joined the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1997. Prof. Zheng was the brain behind the Three Gorges Project and contributed extensively to other major water infrastructures of China.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Prof. Zheng’s family, friends and colleagues. We are thankful to Prof. Zheng for his valuable thoughts and advice for the development of YICODE. We will always miss and feel motivated because of the dedication and professionalism of his.
