China’s water ministry has recently released its 2022 Water Resources Bulletin. According to the released data, the country had a dry 2022, receiving 631.5mm of precipitation that is 2.0% less than long-term average. The total water availability of the country was 2708.81km³, also marking a 1.9% decrease. Its total water consumption reached 599.82km³, which is 7.8km³ higher than the previous year. The per capita water consumption was 425m³, and 49.6m³ per 10,000 GDP.
